Here’s an even-handed AP story about the controversy swirling around the Alaska state trooper who used a taser against his 10-year-old stepson and Gov. Palin’s nephew. It’s hard to imagine that McCain-Palin will be harmed by it. This “Troopergate” doesn’t even deserve its -gate. At this rate everything will get a -gate — like “Bloggers-Spent-The-Weekend-Peddling-Distortions-And-Obvious-Lies-In-A-Transparent-But-Unavailing-Attempt-To-Keep-The-Bold-Palin-Pick-From-Sapping-Obama’s-Puny-Convention-Momentumgate.”
