Sheer class today from Sen. Obama when asked about 17-year-old Bristol’s pregnancy:

You know, my mother had me when she was 18. How family deals with issues and teenage children, that shouldn’t be the topic of our politics. I hope that anybody who’s supported me understands that’s off limits.

As for the “Desperate Housewives” pass-the-baby hoax manufactured by left-wing bloggers and amplified yesterday by Andrew Sullivan, here’s how he’d handle it if his own staffers had acted likewise:

If I ever thought that it was somebody in my campaign who’s involved in something like that, they’d be fired.

    The problem is John is he says that in public and behind the scenes his staffers are pumping stuff to the Daily Kos.

    Politico is now in the tank with Team Obama, too.

    Schmidt and Davis better get some Nixonian backbone soon and start playing hardball, because the MSM is eating us up.

    Gov. Palin nor her family does not deserve to be treated like this…when is someone going to stand up to them???
