thenixonsRN’s youngest brother Ed Nixon, has just written a new book entitled The Nixons: A Family Portrait, chronicling the life and times of the individuals who helped shape the character and principles of America’s 37th President.

He was at the Nixon Library on President’s Day to discuss it before an audience of several hundred, and gave TNN TV a moment of his time for a one-on-one interview:

Very nicely said. Is the Nixon’s a Family Portrait only available from the Nixon Library Museum store?

It was great to be able to see the video clip of the interview with Ed Nixon, he shared some very valuable insights. I very much want to read his book. I see Brian Robertson asked about availability. I didn’t see it on Amazon when I looked a day or two ago but as he notes, see that it is available through the Museum store. I look forward to getting a copy!

    Best,

    Maarja

Brilliance obviously is in the genes of the Nixon family. I am almost finished reading the book and also had the opportunity to meet Mr. Nixon at the library on Presidents Day. What a great man, insightlful and skilled in so many endeavors. Yes, there should be a place for him in our government today. He looks great, much younger than his years and is very personable.

I was younger when Richard Nixon was President and I thought he was the best president there had ever been. After his resignation, in later years, I worked for a man named L. C. Kung who was friends with President Nixon and I always loved it when he told me to “Get the President on the phone for me”. They were very good friends and I felt privileged that I had his and Rosemary’s phone number to track him down for Mr.Kung LOL!

I thought that President Richard Nixon was one of our best Presidents, that we ever had, by ending the Vietnam War, Setting a freeze with interballistic missles with Russia, made open doors to communist China, and now China has 70% private sector economy, and is the fastest growing economy, and fastest Christian missionary outreach. And in the long run, we had won the Vietnam war, by keeping South Vietnam free, supported Israel during the Yonka Pour war, and provided tax cuts, for everyone and helped prosper the economy, ending the draft.

Played a big role during the Cold War, behind the scenes by having President Ronald Regan , President Mihkail Gorbachev sign an agreement by getting rid all nuclear weapons. With the help of Richard Nixons role, America won the Cold War against communism.

President Nixon was truly a great man

It’s useful to understand the background of a family to fully comprehend what upbringing could create such a monster as Richard Nixon.

Mr. Channel, your simple characterization means that you have obviously no clue about Richard Nixon.

Richard Nixon was the first President that as a child I had any memory of, and I instinctively knew that he was a great man and a great leader. That opinion is only reinforced as the years go by. He was a great President destroyed by enemies who were his inferiors in every sense of the word. R.I.P. Mr. President!
