Jon Hoornstra - Biography

Jon Hoornstra was a member of the News Summary staff from 1972 to 1974. He provided media trend analysis for the Ford White House through the end of 1975, returning to his Wisconsin home in 1976 almost exactly 4 years after he arrived in D.C. Before his official 1996 retirement in Silicon Valley, Jon owned his own advertising, marketing and public relations consulting firm. He wrote columns with a local focus for his community newspaper for several years after retiring. Jon's says plans to launch a locally-focused blog and a website for national commentary are nearly complete.
